Frist Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, has berated Russia for their persistent killing of Ukrainian citizens.

Zelenska made this known while taking to her X aaccount on Tuesday.

Her outbursts come after Russia launched double ballistic attacks on the city of Poltava in Central Ukraine, leaving 49dead and a further 219 severely injured.

The First lady sent her condolences to family and friends of those affected in the latest attacks, describing it as a “tragedy for all of Ukraine.”

“Russia is taking away the most valuable thing from us – life. We will never forget this. Eternal memory,” the First Lady posted.

Meanwhile, President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, had reported, in the aftermath of the attacks, that 41 were left died, with 180 injured.

The numbers then swole to 49, as confirmed by a Ukrainian government official.

Ukraine’s Regional head, Philip Pronin, confirmed via Telegram, that no fewer than 49 deaths were recorded and 219 persons injured.

Ukraine describe the latest strike as the “deadliest” since the breakout of the war 2yrs ago.

An educational facility and hospital facility were hit by the targetted strike by Russia.

Member of Ukraine’s parliament, Lisa Yasko, attributed the success of the missile attack on Poltava to Iran’s support for Russia.

Ukraine charged it allies to show efforts in aiding the country in the wake of Russia’s alliances with other countries.

“These ballistic air missiles that Russia was using today, against Poltava… can reach the target in a few minutes.

“Iran is providing more and more weapons to Russia so that they can make such attacks possible.

“We need to, with all international different cooperation, make sure that Russia is not technically capable to have such weapons, to have such missiles,” Yasko said.

On Ukraine’s claims, Iran has, in many times in the past, denied sending missiles and drones to Moscow in their war efforts against Ukraine.
