20-year-old student, four others use human parts for ritual to boost betting chances

A 20-year-old student of political science at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka has been arrested alongside four other suspects accused of engaging in money ritual activities in Lagos.

Police operatives from Zone 2 Command, Onikan, Lagos arrested the 300-level undergraduate student identified as Victor Nnacheta who hails from Aguleri in Anambra state.

He’s reported to have allegedly consulted two herbalist cum Islamic clerics based in Abeokuta to help him perform ritual for making money through Bet9ja business. Nurudeen Shodaolu and Kabiru Badmus had asked him to provide human skull and body parts for the exercise.

The herbalists hired the services of two cemetery workers, Mayewunmi Lukmon and Olanrewaju Jimoh who exhumed dead bodies and cut off the head with other body parts needed for the ritual. When the items were provided, it is said that the skull and other parts were crushed and mixed with a black soap which Nnacheta was advised to use in bathing before going to Bet9ja shop.

Nnacheta was charged N250,000 for the ritual. He confessed to paying the herbalist for the ritual to get rich as he was just an orphan trying to make it big in the Bet9ja business.
