20-year-old Nigerian, Tobi Amusan makes history at Commonwealth Games

20-year-old Oluwatobiloba Amusan has made history as the first Nigerian to win a sprint hurdles title at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
Amusan achieved the feat on Friday (today) at the Carrara stadium in Gold Coast, Australia.
The reigning American Collegiate 100m hurdles queen ran 12.68 seconds to win the race.
She is now Nigeria’s first gold medallist in track and field at the ongoing games.
Amusan’s victory has increased the number of Nigeria’s medal at the ongoing Commonwealth games to eight gold, five silver, and five bronze.
