18-year-old beats biological father to death for “insulting his mother”
The young man lost his temper while watching his father insult his mother, police say.
Lewis Kachigamba then reportedly beat his father, who was drunk at the time, until he died.
The father picked up a quarrel with his wife and the son because he was very drunk and came home where he allegedly insulted his wife and his son, Police spokesperson in Dowa, Malawi, Richard Kaponda said.
The father, Genesis, died of internal bleeding, a post-mortem have revealed.
Lewis will appear in court soon on murder charges..
