10 herdsmen caught destroying farmlands, armed with weapons in Benue

The Nigerian Army says it has arrested 10 herdsmen who engaged in destruction of farmlands in Benue state and its environs.
The suspects were arrested at Tse-Tigir and Tse-Ndugh villages on Monday (yesterday).
There were allegedly in the act of destroying a farmland when the army troop sighted them. They fled into the bush but were arrested.
Recovered items include: 5 motorcycles, 2 machetes, some assorted charms and the sum of N120,000.
All suspects and items were handed over to the Nigerian Police for further necessary action.
