𝐓𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐛𝐮 Entertains 𝐄𝐝𝐨 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐫-𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭, Okpebholo, 𝐀𝐏𝐂 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐀𝐭 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞
Nigeria’s President, Bola Tinubu, entertained the Governor-elect of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Monday Okpebholo, at the state following the latter’s victory at the just concluded Edo Governorship election.
In a video making the rounds on Thursday, Tinubu was seen welcoming other APC leaders in Edo at the Aso Rock Villa.
The APC party Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, was also among attendees at the get-together.
Governors Hope Uzodimma of Imo State; Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State; Uba Sani of Kaduna State; Usman Ododo of Kogi State and; Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State accompanied Okpebholo to the state house.

Part of the delegation also included Senator Adams Oshiomhole, representing Edo North Senatorial District, and Deputy Governor of Edo state, Philip Shaibu.
Senator Monday Okpebholo, as winner of the Edo State Governorship election, was, earlier, presented with a certificate of return by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Four days earlier, INEC had declared the APC candidate the winner of the Edo polls.
Okpebholo garnered 291,667 votes to defeat Asue Ighodalo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), with Olumide Akpata of the Labour Party (LP) coming a distant third in the governorship race.
