WATCH: “I gave them because they were helpless” – Selfless hawker who gave Gala to prisoners
The Gala hawker who displayed enviable selflessness by sharing almost all his goods with prisoners being transported in a van on Friday (today) has been found.
He said he felt the need to give out to the helpless prisoners because he felt sorry for them.
The hawker became a viral sensation when an observer narrated how he ran after a prison van to share the snacks he was selling to prisoners for free.
Many Samaritans have offered to help him with cash and other gift items.
