WATCH: FRSC investigates officer for drinking and driving
The FRSC said it has begun immediate investigation into the viral video of one of its officials who was allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol.
The officer, a Deputy Route Commander identified as B Ojeamiran, was also alleged to have caused an accident.
The commission, through its spokesman Bisi Kazeem, Saturday afternoon, said the incident was being investigated and necessary disciplinary actions would be carried out against Ojeamiran if he’s found guilty.
Kazeem said the Corps Marshal, Dr Boboye Oyeyemi, “condemned in its totality the act and vowed to institute necessary disciplinary actions against the personnel and if found guilty, the law will take its due course.”
