University of Maiduguri reschedules examination after deadly explosions

After a 7-year-old suicide bomber killed one of its professors, the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) postponed all examinations originally scheduled to take place on Monday.

“The university management has directed that all examinations scheduled to hold on Monday 16th January 2017, has been postponed to a later date,” UNIMAID Director, Senate and Academic Matters, Filibus Yamta Mshelia, said in a statement after the attack.

“Examinations will resume as scheduled on Tuesday 17th January 2017,” the statement said.
