UNILAG: Rooms flooded as rainstorm damages Honours hostel
Rooms inside Honours female hostel in the University of Lagos (UNILAG) were flooded after heavy winds and rains descended on Monday.
Photos sent to Newsroom show the rainstorm removed a window from a room in the hostel.

“Almost all the rooms on my floor is flooded,” a student told us. “Part of the hostel roof got blown away.”
The development came as protesters demanded reinstatement for students suspended after criticising UNILAG authorities. The rusticated students had urged the school, among other things, to improve the state of UNILAG hostels.
