Tinubu Set to Swear in Seven New Ministers on November 4
President Bola Tinubu is set to welcome seven new ministers to his cabinet on Monday, November 4, 2024. The ceremony will take place in the Council Chamber of the State House in Abuja, as confirmed by Mr. Bayo Onanuga, the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, via his social media platform.

The new cabinet appointments include seven ministers who will each oversee critical areas of governance are: Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda as Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Muhammadu Dingyadi as Minister of Labour and Employment, Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Jumoke Oduwole as Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Idi Maiha as Minister of Livestock Development, Yusuf Ata as Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, and Dr. Suwaiba Ahmad as Minister of State for Education.

This cabinet expansion follows a substantial reshuffle on October 23, when President Tinubu reassigned 10 ministers to new roles, discharged five, and proposed seven new appointments. The Senate, after thorough scrutiny, confirmed all seven nominees on October 31, ensuring that the new ministers are ready to take up their responsibilities.
