Tinubu, Atiku bromance at religious event amid economic hardship
The political discord between President Bola Tinubu and PDP’s flag bearer for the last concluded general election, Atiku Abubakar seemed to dissolve as the pair were seen exchanging pleasantries at the National Mosque, Abuja.
The political opponents came across each other during Friday’s Jumat which also coincided with the wedding of Senator Danjuma Goje’s daughter.
Their meeting was made public after a post by Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, who called the pair old friends emerged on his Official X handle.

“President Tinubu meets old friend Atiku Abubakar at the National Mosque.“It was at the Jumat and wedding of the daughter of Senator Danjuma Goje”, he said.
The surprising cordiality and ‘friendship’ comes after Atiku tackled Tinubu’s government over its economic policies amid rising hunger and hardship in the country.
Also present was Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi, who doubles as the chairman of the PDP governors’ forum and Abdullahi Ganduje, the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In what was depicted as a romance scene, it is difficult to ascertain if there is any enemity amongst the two leading parties as we are made to believe.
