Three ‘Yahoo’ boys using charms to defraud victims arrested in Osun
Ebenezer Adeniyi Oluwafemi, Kolade Samuel Sogo, and Olwagbenga Majeed Ejikunke are allegedly ‘Yahoo boys’ who are defrauding their victims through diabolical means.
Police authorities say they got the information from trusted sources and arrested them in Ilesha, Osun State on Tuesday, December 4.
The suspects, between 22 and 29 years of age, were allegedly involved in different romance scam. They allegedly pose as female foreigners to fleece unsuspecting victims on the social media.
Several fetish items, two laptops, five different brands of telephones, and several documents containing false pretences were recovered from them when they were arrested.

The EFCC is now looking into the allegations.
The EFCC head in Ibadan, Abdulrasheed Bawa, said his division has now received 40 arrested internet fraudsters in the last week.
There has been concerns in recent weeks that desperate wealth seekers are devising means to collect young girls’ underwear for ritual purposes.
