The suspect has been identified as 25-year-old James Abelagi Tersoo.
Lagos State police have arrested a 31-year-old man, Harry Perry Obiajuru, for allegedly impersonating an army colonel.
The man whose uniform appeared to have been seized by the officer, claimed he was in the military.
