The state government has condemned Chi Limited on its handling of the crisis involving its casual workers, while calling on the police to provide the officer who fired shots.
Police say the protesters had provoked the shooting by hurling caustic soda and other things, thereby injuring an Inspector during a protest over yuletide packages.
