See what happened next after Nigerians directed anger at wrong Twitter handle

Don't get it twisted. NASS ain't Nass.
Don’t get it twisted. NASS ain’t Nass.

The brouhaha breezing through practically living inside the Nigerian National Assembly (NASS) has hilariously made its way to far away Qatar.

A Nigerian tweep is angry that his lawmakers in the lower house exchanged blows yesterday, and that the Senate will be on holiday for the next thirty days (with full pay!).

However, @abayomiamos directed his frustration at the wrong Twitter handle.

“@Nass let all this rubbish stop. This is not the change you promised us,” he tweeted, Friday.

@Nass probably couldn’t figure what the issue was until he googled “NASS” and found Nigeria’s dirty linen strewn everywhere.

“That moment when your  #Twitter handle becomes ‘something important’ in a different country. #NASS #Nigeria,” he tweeted.

@abayomiamos didn’t know that @Nass was just a random tweep from Doha in Qatar.

Albeit, @abayomiamos was not alone as many other Nigerian tweeps mistook @Nass for NASS.
