Russia vows revenge for Ukrainian attacks on its soil
Russia has promised to respond in the strongest way possible to attacks by Ukraine forces within its territory.
Recently, Ukrainian forces have launched offensives on parts of the Eastern Donetsk region controlled by Russia, as well as other regions within the territory of the former Soviet Union HQ.
A statement released by the Spokesperson of the Nation’s Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, labelled the attacks as “terrorist attacks,” with “no military point of view.”
“The Kyiv regime is continuing its terrorist activity with the sole purpose of intimidating the peaceful population of Russia,” the statement read in part.
As per the local Governor for Kursk, 13 people were left injured after the wreckage of a Ukrainian missile fell on the multi-storey building in the city.
Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky, has now acknowledged the incursions of Ukrainian troops into Russian territory while hailing the Armed Forces for taking the fight to the enemy.
“Ukraine is proving that it really knows how to restore justice and guarantees exactly the kind of pressure that is needed – pressure on the aggressor,” Zelensky said.
