Residents vow to kill “pastor” for burying corpses with church foundation

“You’re a dead man.”

That’s what Enugu residents are telling an unidentified church leader accused of burying humans with the foundation of his church building.

The uncompleted church building is located at the Ugwuaji area along the Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway of the state.

Residents, on Monday, were alarmed to discover corpses buried under its foundation.

The residents were reportedly alerted by one of the bricklayers working at the site of the uncompleted church building.

The police were also alerted. They oversaw the recovering of the dead bodies.

State police spokesperson, Ebere Amaraizu, said the bodies were already decaying.

“On information, three decomposing bodies were discovered and full scale investigations have commenced with a view to unmasking circumstances surrounding the incident,” Amaraizu said.

Some residents reportedly said the uncompleted building belonged to a ritualist who’s only posing a pastor.

They, albeit, vowed the life of the “evil pastor” or “ritualist” is as good as over.

“When we find the person wicked enough to do this, we will kill him,” a resident said.
