Presidential juju? Jonathan’s lover dies after wishing Buhari dead
A Nigerian woman and fierce critic of President Muhammadu Buhari is dead.
Esther Okono, who would give everything for the love of former President Goodluck Jonatha, died last Friday, reports say.
In the build up to the 2015 general elections, Esther reportedly wished Buhari would die so Jonathan is returned to Aso Rock.
On Januray 17, 2015, Esther shared a Facebook post in which the author called Buhari’s health into question.
The post was based on a report (later found to be false) that Buhari was “seriously sick with advanced prostate cancer.”
Esther urged Nigerians to avoid voting a sick president who may even die at the helms.
As we all know, Buhari won the election. Esther, who wished him dead, is now dead.
Is Buhari using “African jazz” (or juju, or voodoo) against anyone who wishes him dead? We have no idea.
Little is know of Esther Okono who is now resting in peace.
Her Facebook profile says she was a graduate of University of Uyo, in Akwa Ibom State.
It also says she was born on April 22, 1905 (of course, that can’t be true), effectively making her older than Buhari who was born in 1942.
Esther had 7,514 Facebook followers. One of her friends, as we speak, is former Jonathan spokesperson Reuben Abati.
Nothing eye-popping about that though as Abati obviously shares Esther’s love for the People Democratic Party (PDP), and for Jonathan.
Aside being a fierce critic of the president, Esther seemed to believe everyone supporting the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) possess empty brains.
She shared a picture to that effect.
