President Tinubu to Visit Benue on Wednesday Over Deadly Attacks

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will visit Benue State on Wednesday to address the escalating wave of violence and insecurity plaguing the region.
The visit, announced in a statement by Bayo Onanuga, the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, comes in the wake of renewed attacks by armed herders in parts of the state, which have claimed hundreds of lives in recent weeks.
Originally scheduled to be in Kaduna on Wednesday, President Tinubu has now postponed that engagement to Thursday to prioritise the situation in Benue.
