The Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Magu, said this while addressing a group of lawyers who visited him in Lagos.
Magu said he was prepared to make the supreme sacrifice to see that Nigeria is free from the grips of corruption.
“I am not afraid of anything. I prefer to die fighting corruption if need be,” he declared.
He also expressed regrets that some senior lawyers had “joined forces with fraudsters and those who looted our commonwealth by becoming coaches and technical advisers on how to escape justice”.
Fighting corruption is one of the main thrusts of the President Buhari led Federal Government..
