Pope Francis Returns to Rome Following Asia-Pacific Tour

Pope Francis Completes Asia-Pacific Tour

Pope Francis is now back in Rome after a four-nation Asia-Pacific tour.

The Pope returned on Friday after spending 12 days touring Papua New Guinea all the way to Singapore.

Pope Frnacis had to, againsta all odss, summount health challenges to meet with believers in those regions.

This is the longest trip in duration and distance the Pope has undergone since becoming head of the church over 11yrs ago.

Many believed the trip by the 87yr old would have been impossible to undergo given the pontiff was confined to a wheelchair due to health issues like knee pain and sciatica.

The Pope, in Singapore, called on youths to “take risks” and pursue their dreams.

“Don’t let your stomach get fat, but let your head get fat.

“I say take risks, go out there.

“A young person that is afraid and does not take risks is an old person,” Pope Francis said.

The Pope directed strong-worded messages to world leaders, cautioning against abuse of power as well as abuse against young people.

“These workers contribute a great deal to society and should be guaranteed a fair wage,” the Pope said in Singapore when speaking on migrant workers there.
