Pope Francis Calls for Presidential Election in Lebanon

Pope Francis has advised politicians in Lebanon to hold an election to elect a new President in the country.

He made this call at Saint Peter’s Square at the end of Sunday Angelus prayer on Sunday.

According to him, the country is in dire need of a normal government.

“I address an urgent invitation to all Lebanese politicians to elect the president of the republic immediately,” the Pope said.
