Polytechnic student stabbed to death after losing money to opponent in gamble

A National Diploma student of department of statistics, Kogi State Polytechnic identified as Sadiq Adeiza was on Monday stabbed to death after he embarked on a risky attempt to recover all he had lost in a gamble.
Adeiza’s attempt to recover his money reportedly resulted in a brawl and he was stabbed.
“It was during the fight that he got stabbed by the opponent,” Ebira reporters confirmed the ugly incident, describing it as unfortunate.
According to the President of ISU, Comr Onivehu Habeeb, the remains of the deceased was deposited at the morgue in Federal Medical Centre, Lokoja.
Habeeb revealed that both student unions have concluded arrangements to convey the body to Oboroke, residence of the deceased, in Okehi Local Government.
