Police arrest 100 level Kogi State University student for stabbing colleague to death
The Kogi State Police Command has arrested Yusuf, popularly known as Santa Cruise, a 100 level student of the Department of Public Administration of the Kogi State University, for allegedly stabbing a fellow student to death.
Yusuf allegedly killed Sheriff, a 300 level student of Philosophy and Religion Studies, while the deceased was trying to settle a fight between the suspect and another student.
The deceased, described an easy-going and gentle, was reportedly stabbed in the neck with a broken bottle, causing him to bleed to death.
He was confirmed dead by a medical personnel at the Good Shepherd Hospital in Ayingba.
Yusuf had been on the run since the incident about a week ago, but was finally arrested on Tuesday.
