Police apprehend gospel singer with girlfriend’s dismembered head
Gospel singer, Oluwatimileyin Ajayi, has been arrested with the severed head of his girlfriend.
Ajayi was reportedly arrested on Sunday near a church.
The incident was confirmed by Police Public Relations Officer in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Josephine Adeh.
She, however, clarified that the incident did not occur in Abuja but in Nasarawa State.
“To clarify, the incident above did not occur in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) but in Nasarawa State. We kindly urge everyone to ensure accuracy in such reports for better public understanding,” she said.
The incident has led to a severe social media backlash.
Social media users rushed to the singer’s handles to lay curses and insults, with many baffled at this act.
