Some heroic efforts by four young men prevented the death of three children as their apartment in Otolo, Nnewi area of Anambra, went up in flames three days ago.
Eyewitnesses say fire service didn’t respond to calls made to their lines.
Four brave men were said to have quickly mobilised two water tankers and poured detergents into them, before climbing into the building. They were able to successfully extinguish the fire.
The children, the witnesses say, were rescued alive.
