The “hero” of the 2015 general elections in Nigeria, Professor Attahiru Jega, is back.
Not with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)…his tenure as chairman of the electoral body ended June 30.
Jega is back in the lecture room at the department of Political Science, Bayero University in Kano.
He returned there on July 6.
He is internationally celebrated for the calmness with which he dispatched a political party chieftain who tried to disrupt the announcement of the results of the presidential election.
