Pastor rapes 13-yr-old to ‘cure homosexuality’
A pastor with the Jesus Miracle Ministries Awka, Anambra State, Ekene Adaoji has fled after allegedly raping a 13 year-old boy.
It was gathered that the pastor was told by traditionalist that he had to sleep with a teenager if he wanted to be cured of his homosexual habit.
The victim said that the accused pastor asked him to wait back after vigil. He added that the pastor told him to wait till dawn and when he insisted on going home the Pastor applied something on his face which made him fall asleep.
On waking up he realised that his trousers was torn and that he had been defiled as his anus was damp and he felt pains in that part of his body. He went home and told his people of the incident.
The boy’s family said they were not aware he went to church. Ngozi, a relative of the victim said they went to church after they heard what happened , getting there, they discovered the pastor had fled.
The Anambra State Police Public Relations officer, ASP Nkiru Nwode, said the police were in search of the pastor. He further said that the boy had been taken to the hospital for treatment.
