One severely injured in freak accident as truck’s tyres fly into car in Lagos
One person was severely injured in a freak accident at Old Toll Gate area of Lagos Wednesday morning.
The accident occurred when a truck-carrying container’s back tyres detached and flew out, hitting a private car moving by.
The driver of the car was rushed to Magodo Hospital by first responders, while both vehicles have been taken to Alausa Police Station.
Several deaths have been recorded due to unchecked indiscriminate movement of articulated trucks on Nigerian roads.
