Olubadan, ex SSG narrowly escape death as gunmen descend on Ibadan palace
Tragedy was narrowly averted today in Ibadan as several gunmen opened fire at the palace of the Olubadan as installation of ‘Baales’ and ‘Mogajis’ took place.
Three Nigerian journalists escaped death while the former Secretary to State Government Chief Sharadeen Alli’s car was riddled with bullets.

The report says four gunmen in a black Toyota Sienna opened fire at about 11:45 am while the activity was going on, leaving the windows of cars outside the palace shattered including Alli.

The journalists on arriving at the gate of the palace, were caught in the fire, but they escaped being shot as they ducked for cover in the drainage outlet in front of the palace and were there for 10 minutes before they drove off towards the Molete end of Popoyemoja.
