Nigerians pray for Julius Agwu as he misses his own show in London
Nigerians are praying for stand-up comedian Julius Agwu after he missed his own show over the weekend.
The entertainer has been in and out of hospital since undergoing a brain surgery in 2015.
THENETng reliably gathered he was hospitalized again in London, and could not make it to the London edition of his annual show Crack Ya Ribs. Those close to him say ‘it was just stress’.
The London gig, which usually holds the Sunday before Bank Holiday in August, on the weekend of the Nottinghill Carnival, did not however take place this year due to the comedian’s inability to be present.
He had earlier advertised this year’s event as usual and was in London ahead of the show.
When it became obvious he wouldn’t be attending the event, concerned fans besieged his social media pages to wish him well, with many offering prayers on his Instagram page, where his last post was four days ago.
We all pray for the beloved comedian’s recovery and hope he gets better soon.
