Nigerians now tap electricity from telecoms mast
July 11, 2016
As Nigeria’s power crisis refuses to go away, citizens are being pushed to look for desperate means of charging their devices.
The picture in this post was shared on Facebook by Odiboh Samuel Itoya. He said the image was taken on Friday, July 8.
The shot was taken somewhere around Ado-Odo/Ota in Ogun State. A child is photographed watching over mobile phones and other devices being charged in a public place.
The electricity, apparently, was tapped from a telecoms installation in the area.
We wonder what Nigeria’s “able” power minister, Babatunde Fashola, would think about this..
