Nigerians love themselves a holiday for its obvious perks; getting away from work, spending time with friends and family, and exchanging gifts.

Sallah is one of those and today, September 1 is being celebrated and with it, comes the meat from all the rams that would be slaughtered.

And in a Sallah message to Nigerians, President Buhari talked about policies to which would help reduce the hardship of Nigerians amid the current economic recession.

He said his administration would focus on infrastructural development in the areas of rail and road constructions, embark on housing projects, and provide support for farmers and industries.

Buhari stated further that his government would implement youth and women’s empowerment programmes as well as provide support for the revival of industries, as ways of reinvigorating the economy and improving the living standards of the people.
