Nigerian woman scolds “lazy, ineffective” FRSC officials on Facebook
Nigeria’s Federal Road Safety Corps ( FRSC) is doing a very bad job, a concerned Nigerian woman has alleged.
Facebook user Shola Benson said FRSC officials do only what is convenient for them, and close from work just when they’re most needed.
She seemed particularly concerned about the conduct of the officers patrolling the major highways in the country.
“Trailers and tankers with terrible tires pass you by every day,” she began.
“As we speak containers are not properly tied on the trucks and you let them pass. But you stop jeeps and other luxury vehicles and ask for break light.
“Once its 5:30 p.m. you are off the road. There is usually terrible traffic between Redemption Camp (on Lagos-Ibadan expressway) and Ibafo because of bad road. You are not helping, rather you add to the slow movement by looking for vehicles with broken side mirrors or brake lights. Please let’s feel your positive impact.”
Benson’s passionate plea came as a comment to an FRSC post about an accident which occurred on Wednesday.
