New CNN Polls Divided Over Trump, Kamala Harris
A new poll conducted by CNN shows there is very little separating U.S Presidential candidates, Kamala Harris and Donald Trump in the race for the White House.
The poll conducted in the wake of the Democratic National Convention shows Harris with a slight 2% advantage over Trump.
The new poll shows that Vice-President, Harris, has an average of 49% support.
On the other hand, Republican party flagbearer, Trump, has 47% across polls conducted between August 23-September 6 this year.
Harris previously held an average 50% compared to Trump’s 48%.
The polls shows a wider gender gap between both candidate’s support with women favouring Harris by 11 points (53% to 42%), with men breaking for Trump by 17 points (56% to 39%).

In the area of likely voters younger than the age of 30, Harris has an 8-point advantage over Trump, 51%-36%.
Trump, however, has an advantage among those aged 65 and above.
Among independent likely voters, Harris holds a slight egde, 48% to Trump’s 44%.
Harris also has more edge over her rival when it comes to likely voters of Black and Latino races.
The elections which will hold in November is one that has had so much anticipation among the U.S population with incubent President, Joe Biden, dropping out of the race a few months ago for his Vice-President, Harris.
