MTN Nigeria views the decision as essential for ensuring the continued development and resilience of the telecom sector, which plays a central role in the nation’s digital economy.
Karl Toriola, CEO of MTN Nigeria, expressed gratitude to the Nigerian government, the Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, the NCC, and industry bodies for their unwavering support. Toriola emphasized that the tariff adjustment is a crucial response to the ongoing economic challenges facing the telecom sector.
