Miss Nigeria USA "relinquishes" crown after winning something bigger

“Original” Miss Nigeria USA winner Frances Onyemachi Udukwu has been “stripped” of her crown.
Organisers of the event said it is a good thing, NET reports.
Organisers of the pageant crowned the first runner up at its 2015 edition, Olutosin Araromi, as the new queen.
The initial winner Udukwu was made to relinquish her crown after she emerged Miss Africa USA, an achievement that is obviously bigger.
The development necessitated the crowing of Olutosin as Miss Nigeria USA, organisers said.
Olutosin, 22, is a student at the Montclair State University in New Jersey where she is studying Child and Family studies.
