Minister, Matawalle, Distributes Fertisers To APC IN Zamfara
The Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Bello Matawalle, has made available, 15 trailer loads of fertiliser to members of the All Progressives Congress in Zamfara State.
The Publicity Secretary of the party, Alhaji Idris, made this known in a statement released on Sunday.
He disclosed that the Chairman of the state chapter of the APC, Tukur Danfulani, oversaw the hand-over of the fertilisers to the party’s secretary on behalf of the Minister.
He noted that the donation was in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s agricultural transformation programme.
Idris explained that part of the fertilisers were allocated to the Minister by the Federal Government.
He noted that the fertilisers will go a long way in boosting harvest in the coming wet farming season.
“All the 15 trailers will be distributed free of charge to all identified beneficiaries with the sole aim of supporting farmers,” teh statement read.

Idris noted that the distribution will be effectively carried out through all the 147 wards of the 14 local government areas of the state.
Party State Working Committee members and executives, local government executives and some ward executives, party elders and youths are some of the beneficiaries of this donation.
The APC zamfara State Chairman, Danfulani, lauded the Minister for the act.
“This gesture is making the party more popular and acceptable among people of the state,” Danfulani noted.
