Man reveals how being an albino stopped his lover from introducing him to her parents

Societal attitudes in regards to albinism often comes with tremendous influence on persons with albinism. Persons with albinism are seen as rare individuals of genetic disorders.

One of the many persons with albinism in the Nigerian society, took to the Facebook to share his heartbreaking story.

Sharing his story on the social media platform, the yet-to-be identified online user, lamented how a lady he dated refused to show him to her parents because of his albinism.

The albino who shared his disappointment on Facebook, expressed that he used to trust that individuals have exceptional somebody meant for them. And if his experience is anything to go by, such believes are fictitious.

He wrote; I used to believe that we all have that special someone but not anymore this days. The last girl I dated when it got time to see her people she refused that she cannot cause of obvious reasons.. of how I look so why would one believe someone praying for you.
