Man with HIV asks not to wear condom before sex, “infects” 29 women

An Italian man is being held by police for “deliberately infecting 29 women” after allegedly asking not to wear a condom before having sex with them.
Simply identified as Valentino T, police arrested him in December after six women became infected with the virus between 2006 and 2009.
As more women who have had sexual relations with him came forward to be tested, more were discovered to have contracted the deadly virus.
It is believed he had sex with up to 40 women, aged between 20 and 30, during the period. 29 of them have tested positive.
Valentino, 31, faces charges of “grievous and incurable bodily harm” against the women, Daily Independent reports.
He told local newspaper, Corriere, that since the disease was “regressive” in his case, he “thought” he wouldn’t infect them.
He is still being held in custody as investigations continue..
