Man begs Big Brother Naija contestants to rape female housemates

A Nigerian Twitter user has come under fire for apparently encouraging Big Brother Naija participants to sexually assault fellow contestants.

The reality show is know for culminating in sexual encounters between housemates. The Twitter user identified as Joshua Itua said he’s watching the show for that reason. He said his DSTV subscription would be a waste of money if he didn’t see some sexual activity, adding urging the guys in the house to make it happen even by force.

Itua’s profile says he’s “a respected business man and supporter of women right advocates”.

After other users took him to task on the distasteful comments, Itua apologised explaining that someone else accessed his account to tweet the nonsense.
