Man allegedly hacks mother of four to death in Enugu
Police in Enugu said they have launched full scale investigation into the death of a woman identified as Nkechi Nnamani.
The mother of four was allegedly hacked to death by her husband, Sunday Nnamani.
Police PRO in Enugu, SP Ebere Amaraizu confirmed the incident on Friday.
“It was gathered that Nkechi was hale and hearty before her husband, Sunday Nnamani, allegedly hit her with an object on the head, which left her in a coma,” Amaraizu said.
“Nkechi was consequently rushed to Parklane Specialist Hospital, Enugu, where she was confirmed dead by the doctor on duty,’’ he said.
The PPRO said the Police were trying to unravel the circumstances surrounding the incident; just as Nkechi’s body has been deposited in the mortuary.
