Lady who offered house, car for marriage is reportedly “insane”
It seems the 22-year-old Nigerian lady who offered a house and a car to any man who would care to marry her is crazy…in the literal sense of it.
It was alleged that Kano-based Zainab Abdulmalik said, last Tuesday, she made the move to get back at her fiancée who recently ditched her.
After she made the announcement on radio, Kano was set ablaze as all manner of men besieged the location of the station where the words were aired.
Well, the lady is in a psychiatric ward as we speak, reports say.
“Yes she is on admission in our hospital but this is not the first time she would be brought here,” Malam Abubakar Ibrahim, head of the hospital where Zainab is being treated told local media.
“She has been an outpatient for long but she was brought here at the weekend,” he said.
Family sources were reported as saying the man who broke Zainab’s heart had been dragged to court. The lady reportedly invested N5 million on her now estranged lover.
“She was stable until when she was betrayed by somebody who promised to marry her after collecting money from her last year,” an unnamed family source allegedly said.
“Since then she developed mental problem and she has been on and off at the psychiatric hospital.
“Her condition relapsed at the weekend that was why she was taken to the hospital. If you go there now, you will see her because she is on admission.”
