Lady, 23, kills friend for telling her boyfriend she’s a prostitute
A 23-year-old woman identified as Jimoh Simiat has allegedly killed her friend, Esther Oga for telling her boyfriend that she’s a prostitute.
Simiat was said to have engaged Oga in a fierce fight which eventually led to her death around Fountain University area, Osogbo, on 10th February, 2018.
Explaining the scenario that led to her friend’s death, Simiat told an Osogbo Magistrates’ court that her friend labelled her as a prostitute.
She said the deceased made the accusation to her boyfriend, and it was in the bid to find out the truth from her that a fight broke out. Oga died during the fight.
The court remanded Simiat in custody for continuation of trial.
