Lack of quorum scuttles PDP move to appoint BOT secretary

Members of the PDP who converged  to elect or appoint a new secretary as well as discuss other issues at the meeting, were disappointed and left the venue looking pessimistic.

The office of BOT Secretary has been vacant since  former minister of foreign affairs, Chief Ojo Madueke who held the position until his death last year.

The meeting recorded a low turnout of the PDP Board of Trustees, hence a quorum could not be formed to hold an election

It was reported that the meeting could not achieve its purpose due to “vested interests.”

Some of the BOT members were reported to live within Abuja but they deliberately refused to show up.
