JUST IN: ISWAP kills one of two abducted ICRC healthcare workers
October 15, 2018
The Islamic State’s West African province (ISWAP) faction of the Boko Haram terrorist group has carried out its threat to execute one of two International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) workers today.
The Cable reports that Hauwa Mohammed Liman was killed today.
Hauwa was a 24 years old midwife working with the ICRC in northern Nigeria.
She was kidnapped in March along with two other workers, Saifura Khorsa and Alice Loksha. Saifura was killed by the terrorist group about three weeks ago.
Alice remains in the group’s custody.
The publication also reported that the group has vowed to make Leah Sharibu, a 15-year-old Dapchi schoolgirl, a slave for life.
