Jigawa CP Holds Ceremony For 57 Promoted Officers

The Commissioner of Police, Jigawa State Police Command, Ahmadu Abdullahi, has decorated 57 police officers promoted in the Command.
This much was contained in a statement by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Lawan Shiisu Adam, on Sunday.
The decoration ceremony was held at the State Command Headquarters in Dutse on Friday.
According to Adam, the Commissioner of Police sent his congratulations to the promoted officers on behalf of the Inspector General of Police (IGP).
The Officers were promoted from the rank of Inspectors of Police to the substantive rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police II.

Abdullahi lauded the promoted Officers and charged them to carry out their duties effectively and be good representatives of the Force.
“The Commission, therefore, urged the newly decorated officers to redouble their efforts in serving the general public and upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity,” the statement read.
According to Abdullahi, the promoted Officers were recommended and approved by the Inspector General of Police to the Police Service Commission.
