Imo: Lawyers run for cover as thugs invade court, escape with accused person
Armed men, Friday morning, stormed the Imo State High Court to rescue, apparently, one of their own.
The men forcefully took one Henry Chibueze, a. k. a. Vampire, away. Chibueze was standing trial at the court.
Witnesses say the court had no security officer on ground to engage the armed thugs who sent everyone into pandemonium by firing shots into the air.
Lawyer and judicial workers scampered for safety, taking refuge under tables in their offices.
Police believe the incident was a carefully planned escape and are now in search of Chibueze and the armed men.
