Ibadan: Man remanded in prison for stealing N5k yam flour

A 42-year-old man has been remanded in prison custody as he awaits sentencing for stealing N5000 worth of yam flour.

Abdulahi Mumuni was arraigned, Monday, before an Iyaganku Chief Magistrates’ Court in Ibadan on a a single-count charge of theft.

The court heard that the accused stole the item, Saturday morning, from a shop at Bodija Market in Ibadan. One Alhaja Rafatu Kareem owns the shop.
